Clo,
I have no problem whatsoever if Vitter were to step down and they had a replacement for him from his State.

I think the truth really is that an awful lot of people who are in Congress in either the House or Senate should pack their things and get out.

In fact, I would be in favor of term limits, short ones, for the House and Senate both so politicians don;t get entrenched and then corrupt.

They should run for office for the sole purpose of being a servant of the people in their districts, not to get rich and collect a big lifetime pension and Gold standard medical care the rest of their lives.

If they don;t want to serve out of love of country, then don;t run for office.

This will ensure that only the ones who are not grubbing after money run for office and maybe will remember they work for us, not the other way around.

Just my thoughts on Congress in general as well as hypocrites like Vitter.
