re: "You don't think Japan's need to rebuild will have an impact on industrial metal?"

I think the amount of damage has been greatly exaggerated - at least in most people's minds. What major city was destroyed?

The tsunami hit one of the country's most rural areas. Towns were wiped out, but not cities. Farms were destroyed, but not factories. 15,000 died... but it could have been a million.

In that regard, Japan dodged a bullet.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Decomp,

You don't think Japan's need to rebuild will have an impact on industrial metal?
Or has the nuclear damage made that impossible? clo
