And, KillTheCat,
That would have been before we found out what liars
and charlatans the 'global warming alarmists' really
are.

The 'warmest year ever' proclamations - derived by
throwing out high temperatures recorded in years past.

And, we can no longer trust future temperature
proclamations - because the shysters have thrown
out measurements from stations that typically give
lower temperature readings.

Measured temperatures disagree with what the computer
models predict? 'They' simply come up with a 'new
and improved' method for 'calculating' temperatures
that gives them the numbers they want.

So, I can't believe what 'they' tell me.

And what do 'they' want me to do?

Reduce my standard of living? . . . give 'them' ALL my
money? So's 'they' can save the planet?

I don't think so.

There are things we could - and probably should - be
doing which would both help the problem and improve
America's energy indepence problem.

But, 'they' won't let U.S. put the windmill generators
up in Nantucket Bay.

'They' are doing everything in their power to keep U.S.
from building zero-carbon emmissions nuclear power
plants.

So, screw it. Crispy critter the planet.

Zim.

There was a time when Republicans were at the forefront of efforts to investigate – maybe even do something about – the impact of human activity on global climate.

John McCain was an early and persistent supporter of cap-and-trade efforts to reduce the greenhouse gases (mainly carbon dioxide) associated with climate change. So was Newt Gingrich, who went on to make a YouTube video ad – with then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, no less – where he said, “Our country must take action to address climate change.”

Trying To Win The Moron Vote

Now, Republican presidential hopefuls are racing in the opposite direction – disavowing support for policy measures on climate – even any sense that there’s a problem to be addressed.
