Do you think the author of the article has just a twinge of BIAS? Grandson of FDR?

How much money does this person "think" is left in the social security coffers that wasn't raided by Congress already? Where exactly is ALL THIS MONEY the author speaks of?

He also does not talk about the first generation or recipients of S.S> benefits that did NOT contribute into this system their entire lives.
They were supported by the generation that followed them.

In other words, Social Security is the biggest PONZI Scheme of all time in world history. It dwarfs Bernie Madoff but because it was conceived by FDR, well it just has to be good, right????

What a pathetic article by a person with an obvious agenda and an obvious bias who truly has not a clue.

Social Security's Enduring Truths

"Despite the naysayers, the system's finances are sound....

...This is decidedly not a program that is broke or going broke. In fact, this is quite a remarkable achievement."

James Roosevelt Jr., AARP Bulletin, 6/11

Finally, an essay that attempts to lift the cloud of social security.
