If a coal plant blows up, how hard is it to repair? Do you want to take your kids to help work on a nuclear plant that blew up? It only takes one problem to affect millions of people. It has not happened YET in America, but it will. Just as the Earth will again be hit by a large meteor at some point in the future, the unexpected always happens. Maybe not today. Maybe not next week. BUT...

Oh come now, dudes and dudettes. Nuclear is safer than any other energy industry. How many ppl have been killed in coal and oil?

I'm not sure that people realize how pervasive nuclear is. It supplies a whopping 14% of the world's electricity. 20% of US, 75% of France, etc.
