that Rep. Michelle Bachman, in an interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN yesterday, stated, in response to a question about her vote on extending the national debt cealing, that the secretary of the treasury should be instructed to use the first ten percent of the available budget to pay the interest on the national debt, and the rest to fund the military and then to pay benefits for senior citizens. This, by the way, leaves nothing for the rest of the government to operate on. She essentially said that there was no way she would vote to extend the national debt cealing. We presume that this reflects the views of the rest of the tea party representatives in congress.
