About the "Pacifica Radio Network."

This is PUBLIC RADIO, and the headline story on its website is that Congress is considering reducing its funding and supporters need to fight. Poor babies know that they can't possibly make it on their own in the big, mean, COMPETITIVE world.

By all means, we have to protect Pacifica and other public radio stations so they can continue scaring us with stories about the basement fire at the evil nuclear power plant in Nebraska. More importantly, "The times require a national network, and the outcome of bankruptcy hearings will not be five progressive stations running their own affairs, but more likely two commercial stations and three new Christian radio channels."

God forbid! - though I mean that figuratively, of course, since "progressives" don't actually care about God. If government subsidies go away, progressive radio might be replace with three new Christian radio channels!

A fate worse than death, eh liberals???

I just listened to it - but I didn't hear the creepy part. One of the buildings at the plant had a basement fire. They don't say which building, so I very much doubt it was the reactor building. If it WAS the reactor, they surely would have mentioned it!

The building was evacuated due to "poisonous gases." Heh! Normal people call that "SMOKE" - but liberals have to jazz everything up to properly bias their listeners.

And, of course, the narrator seems to be doing his best impersonation of a mortician. What's up with his voice???

Perhaps THAT is what you find "creepy"? If so, then I agree. The narrator is pretty creepy.
