FWIW, I thought Santorum looked the most 'Presidential.' I'm glad to hear you (and others) didn't respond well to Pawlenty. I don't know him well, but I'm not liking what I'm hearing.

Cain wasn't as impressive in this debate as he was in the last one, a few weeks ago. So I agree with your assessment there.

I thought Bachman was fairly blah, and it occurred to me too that she might just be shooting for a VP spot.

Ron Paul, as always, was excellent. However, we live in a nation of voters who don't know what's good for them. Whoever they wind up getting - it will serve them right!

I'm sure Obama would prefer to go against Bachman, Pawlenty or Cain. It's clear that the others could kick his butt without even working up a sweat.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I watched & listened to the entire debate.

IMO, Michele Bachmann did very well (for her) though I don't think she has a prayer in the general.
Maybe a VP spot?

Mitt was solid, no surprise.

The big disappointment, Pawlenty not ready for prime time, timid. It will be difficult for him if Michele wins the straw poll in Iowa. Might finish him since they both attrack the same type of voters.

Ron Paul was on message. He has his supporters, but doesn't have a prayer.

Newt is burnt toast.

Kane is fizzling out.

Santorum, not a prayer.

Jon Huntsman will announce next week in New Jersey.
Let's see what he brings to the dance. clo
