I didn't listen to the whole debate, only to Ron Pauls comments as here excerpted.
I am pleased, and somewhat surprised, Ron Paul is MUCH stronger and more effective in his use of the forum than he was in debates of four years ago.
I am guessing he has studied and honed his debate skills. His performance reminds me more of the much younger Ron Paul, from the 1970's (I previously posted a clip of his powerful debate style from that era), than of Paul from the 2008 debates.
Watch and tell me what you think. I notice, in particular, that when he is handed a question where a short direct answer could not possibly accurately convey what he would do as President (e.g., "If you could pick one of your opponents here to serve on your administration, which would it be and why") he handles this stumbling block very adroitly. He also appears to have vanquished his "humming" and "hawing" (unconscious public speaking gremlins which weaken your presentation and can be eliminated by training) which occasionally trapped him in 2008.
