It sounds like a stunt to me. The only way he'd have a prayer is if he has classified knowledge of the precise GPS location where the body was dumped overboard. Can he even narrow it down to the nearest 100 square miles of ocean?
The only thing he'll accomplish is failure to find it, which will just support the conspiracy theorists. Even if he did miraculously find it, disturbing it would result in a lot of human deaths.
If he does make the attempt, what would serve him right is if the Somalian pirates nab him. A rich dude like that would command a pretty good ransom.
