"They could start by pushing to RESCIND Clinton's NAFTA and re-institute Glass-Steagall."

Glass-Steagall should have NEVER been eliminated & after the bank debacle should have been reinstated BEFORE TARP was doled out!

As for NAFTA, I was always opposed, prior to the passage.

Obama & the Democrats should have & still can "change" this, though I won't hold my breath....
Even Republicans should see this & be able to do something now that they have the power in the House.

This is what I mean, politicians are unwilling to deal with these issues, meanwhile Rome burns...

Do you agree, unless America manufactures, and banks have regulation, we are toast?
What else can change the direction & save the patient? clo

So why don't the Democrats -- Obama, for instance -- take the lead in getting us back to "manufacturing & creating goods"?

They could start by pushing to RESCIND Clinton's NAFTA and re-institute Glass-Steagall.
