BTW, I pulled my 401(k) money out of equities months ago, around $12,200. Then I sat and watched as the Dow kept rising.

I wish I could say I felt vindicated now, but mostly I just recognize my own inability to tell what the Dow is going to do next.

I *think* it should fall several thousand points. Will it, though? In this world where money has no real value associated with it, I have no idea.

Why do I suddenly hear 'Strawberry Fields Forever' in my head? Ah, I know! It must be the 'Nothing is real' verse...

I've always been afraid to short. Oh well. I was never as sure of anything in my life as I was that the homebuilders would collapse. They did, but even then I didn't short them except in a game I was playing. I don't think I'll start now.
