And probably for a lot less money too.

Did you see where Tom Pawlenty is suggesting that any goods or service which you can find by doing a Google search which is offered by a private business, that government should stop providing those same goods and services? And one of the items that he mentioned was the postal service. Of course, he doesn't seem to care that the USPS is cheaper than either FedEx or UPS, they deliver on Saturdays for the same price as during the week and you can even ship something to a PO box. But the one item that stunned me was his claim that you could find a private alternative for AMTRAK using Google. And exactly what private company would that be that is providing PASSENGER rail service here in America?

Ordered a couple laptops for the grand-daughters HS years, used, but solid Mac iBooks.. I need to clone the latest OS onto them, set up Office, etc.. Estimated delivery 6th-8th...

tracking shows they came to town yesterday! Deliver today? Nope, Tomorrow, the 8th... So I called, see if I could just pick them up, since signature is required, nope, not until delivery fails and they return to the fedEx warehouse.. So naturally, we're going to be gone most of the day, with the grand-kids, movies, snacks, maybe dinner...

They could make it so easy.. Too bad it wasn't USPS, they'd be here!
