There would probably be more auto workers today if the government had just let them go broke. More of the jobs would probably be in the south instead of Detroit but the bond holders would not have been screwed. It didn't work before with Chrystler and it is not working much better this time. Why are all them unemployeed workers sitting around waiting for their phones to ring?
If Obama didn't help the auto industry there would've been another MILLION unemployed.
Instead the auto industry was spared, folks are working & paying taxes instead of collecting unemployment & food stamps.
Even Mitt Romney wants to take credit for thinking that was the correct decision. clo
