True but not reality today.

Encoding is thekey word. As long as anyone is relying upon software only for security, there will be a problem.
That is why security MUST be HARDENED in SILICON.

I suggest you take a minute or ten and look at the TCG and what that is about.

Learn about TPM's and TRUSTED ROOTS below the kernel level of the TSS.

It's a whole new age and way of doing things there my friend and I agree that software alone cannot secure anything. That is why it MUST be inclusive of and stored in SILICON and ISOLATED.

Until you learn about the newest advancements that have been being built upon for at least 12 years now, you really will not understand the fundamental radical changes to what you were describing..

the best,

micro...

micro, from the mid 1980's until the late 1990's I worked Private-line services in AT&T. In the begining the speeds were very slow but then so were the computers. The circuits connected different locations with telephone lines that were not accessable except by AT&T techs or Bell techs. Back then every major airport tower was connected to all other towers. Every JC Penny store was connected to the home office. Every Wal-Mart store was connected to Bentenville, Ark. The lines connecting the computers were dedicated lines which kept hackers at bay because hackers had to be connected to one of the computers directly. Now most all of those lines are gone and the computers are connected by the Internet. Regardless of how fancy the encoding becomes, it will always be breakable.
