That is premature according to what BOB is saying.
The THREAD will remain open but the political boards will be shut down, and that includes RANT, FFT, and Constitutional Corner.

Yes, YUKU is different. If Bob chooses, (and it is HIS choice) to close down the political boards, then you need another place IF you want to keep the group together.
Yuku does not need to be the permanent home, but does provide a temporary shelter until another permanent home can be found.
I remain of the opinion that Bob should just CHARGE a minimal membership fee per annum from everyone which would help with baloney like this.
If everybody who posts here would pony up just $20.00 per year, how much money would that put in emergency coffers and maintenance coffers for Bob?
I don't know, but I bet it is more than he gets now and would be a big help and a financial strain relief of some degree.
