I think you are confused. The woman lawyer represented the ITC and Nok had their top gun (Finn or Flinn) at the oral argument according to Infinite _Q in his report from the hearing.
The CAFC is not the ITC... not even close. Bird didn't even show up at the oral arguments in front of the 3 judge panel at the CAFC; Nokia sent one of his flunkies, and according to reports she seemed lost.
