Apparently, ol' ethically challenged Barney decided that the boy-toy who stimulated his fanny would be good for the government's Fannie.

"If it is (a conflict of interest), then much of Washington is involved (in conflicts),” Frank told the Herald last night. “It is a common thing in Washington for members of Congress to have spouses work for the federal government. There is no rule against it at all.”

BWHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! So, Barney's excuse for his unethical behavior is "everybody else does it, so it's okay for me to do it." How terribly pathetic! Rolling Eyes

"Moses, who lived with Frank in Washington at the time, worked for Fannie until 1998, when he left the mortgage behemoth. Moses, who could not be reached for comment, and Frank split up that year."

A meaningless coincidence that Herb Moses removed himself from Barney Frank's fanny in the same year he left the government's Fannie? Yeah ... riiiight! Rolling Eyes
