Medicare is less a problem than Medicade. Medicare should be cut back to more along the lines of what it was originally proposed to do. Like most government plans, it has been 'broadened' to encompass more and more people. If most Americans took care of themselves and their families, Medicare, Medicade, and Social Security would not be needed. Americans are becoming so socialistic that most folks are laying around waiting for someone else to feed clothe and house them. Why work and be responcible when the government will baby you?

Just because some of us are over 55, doesn't mean we just think of ourselves.
We all know the Ryan plan to change Medicare as we know it will effect our loved ones.
And 80% of Americans oppose it.

Watch the republican senators back away from this.
So far we have, Scott Brown, both women from Maine & Lisa M. from Alaska. And Rand Paul voted against it!

For nearly two years republicans threatened that Obama's health care plan would have "death panels" for grandma.
