Yep!
Unfortunately, nearly all that are in a position to do something about this are already in their (Wall Street's) pockets, and most of them are too ignorant even if they aren't already bought and paid for.
This whole thing of legal gambling (on a massive scale) on things that can and do heavily influence the economy, and the common man's plight, simply make my blood boil.
The first three decades of my life I so detested all things Wall Street that I would not play the game at all.....I'd just save my money in the bank.
Eventually I decided I was going to have to learn the game, and participate as an investor in equities, to get ahead. And after three decades of that, I still have to hold my nose to do so.
Today I hear Goldman Sachs has now gone against the grain of recent pronosticators that say oil is going down. They're again calling for big increases. Rest assured that they've already well begun placing their multi billion bets, will use more billions to re-inflate the bubble, and will get out highly profitably before they tell us "now it's poised to go down."
Playing with the most important commodity of all, to the great detriment of us all.
(And as I've said before, just wait'll you see how cap and trade plays into their hands.)
K-cat, is time for "off with their heads?"
