I just spoke to a 60-year old woman who says she'll be the first member of her family to vote Democrat in 3 generations.

She just got turned down for health insurancedue to several minor pre-existing health conditions (all controlled with medication).

She's angry at Democrats because Obamacare doesn't kick in until 2014.

But she's angrier at Republicans because they want to repeal it.

At some point all of us will reach 60 (we hope). Imagine being 60 years old and unable to get health coverage.

Even her state's "high risk pool" won't give her coverage until she's been without coverage for at least 6 months. Her coverage just ended and she doesn't want to go for 6 months with no coverage whatsoever.

De-funding Obamacare is not a good idea if Republicans want votes from folks who plan to live to be 60 years old.
