Oh Decomp,

It's sad that in this day and age, no one has the right to just be left alone.

That's what "islands" are for. ;))

I don't think NY is unusual in the non discrimination laws, but need to investigate. clo

clo,

re: "I know in NY, if you have rentals, (home, apts, rooms)you can NOT discriminate."

New York is wrong, and its invasive government is both offensive and unAmerican, imo. It is not without reason that New York has consistently been rated as the LEAST free of all the States.

I wouldn't live there. Fortunately, I don't have to. For those who do... well, more power to you. I only feel sorry for those old timers who knew a better, freer New York and who, primarily for sentimental reasons, can't bring themselves to leave.

And I feel sorry for those of us in other states who, it seems, have little or no ability to stop YOU types of folks from digging your fingers into our lives and our wallets.

Yes, government built our roads. But with OUR money. How about... stop taking our money and we'll stop using the roads? Isn't that fair?? But socialists and other big government types don't give anyone that right.

It's sad that in this day and age, no one has the right to just be left alone.
