Per the NY Times, Mitch Daniels has decided not to run due to "Family considerations". It seems he didn't want to spend an entire campaign explaining his wife or she did not want to have to explain herself. I guess he will be missed from the campaign. However... One thing that everyone overlooked in their rush to welcome an adult into the race, Mitch Daniels was George Bush's budget director; he played a leading role in helping to turn the Clinton era surpluses into trillion dollar deficits. His wife's peccadilloes would have been the least of my concerns about him.
