Yes, the anger is building... We wandered 3 weeks Madrid, Barcelona, the Hill towns, Bilbao, Tangiers, Gibraltar, planes trains, buses, boats, subways, and a lot of walking... Miles and miles of newly planted olive groves as the hi speed trains took us tot he next destination... Lots of construction, maybe that has slowed now... The old hill towns were great to just wander, see the local sites, I think we had eight we made it to.. English was fine, or workable most places, but not the train stations, absolutely a deaf ear to English, but we only missed one reservation, a little escapade, all part of the fun of travel..

Hi weco,

They have nearly 22% unemployed, many are young with lots of energy & anger. This is much more than parking issues now.

Looks like a beautiful place to visit in calmer times. clo
