There is no strategic value for the U.S. in Afghanistan.
Iraq has lots of strategic value. And Oil.
Just so happens, Iraq is where we kicked al qaida
butt - instead of chasing ghosts in Afghanistan ala
the soviets Bush forced al qaida to fight soldiers -
in Iraq.
Obama has shoveled an American Army of occupation
into Afghanistan - the same bear trap the soviets
lost their butts in. Can yoy say "No Win Quagmire"?
Reminds me of Vietnam . . . how could one find
victory in Vietnam? How will Obama find victory in
Afghanistan?
Just try explaining what 'victory' in Afghanistan
will look like.
Iraq, on the other hand - obama has already found it
possible to withdraw. Leaving a stable government in
