Republicans too busy to honor Navy SEAL Team6
As you probably know by now, the Senate passed unanimously a resolution honoring the members of the SEAL team that killed Osama bin Laden. It has long been a tradition of Congress to take a few minutes to recognize notable accomplishments by Americans. Sadly, as they more and more expose their true colors to the American public, the House Republican/Teabaggers have been too busy trying to establish a government lockbox on America's vaginas to bother following the Senate lead.
House Republicans say they have no plans to follow the Senate in passing a resolution honoring the military mission that killed Osama bin Laden.
The decision by GOP leaders follows new rules they enacted in January scrapping the tradition of congratulatory measures, which they complained clogged up the House floor.
The Republican/Teabaggers are just too busy fighting abortion, tax increases on the rich, stopping the ending of oil subsidies, reinstating Don't Ask, Don't Tell, killing Medicare (and grandma) and protecting Wall St. from legal consequences to notice a weekend trip by a bunch of Navy soljers. Osama bin Forgotten by this misbegotten crew.
