...when someone posts material on the internet, we can assume that is because they want someone or everyone to read it. The purpose of this is to generate traffic to increase the value of advertising. If you post a link to a site and folks go there, they are doing what the owner of the site wants you to do. If you cutn'paste the site's documents to a message board, they lose the traffic. That's what makes a link legal and a cutn paste illegal.
