Absolutely, I think they would. Politicians, corporate leaders, and especially those in the banking and investment sectors, made out like bandits this last decade. Just look at the money and criminality they've gotten away with (and continue to get away with. Wall Street bonuses continue to set new records.)
How many went to jail, lost elections or were sued? In that light, why wouldn't Big Business want more such?
As of at least a few weeks ago, I read that Big Business is donating overwhelmingly to Republicans. That tells you who they think will win - though, of course, OBL's death may affect how they see things. (I don't think it will.)
