clo, if you want a new couch do you mortgage your house so you can get it right now? If anything they should pass a law that says America can NEVER spend more money than it takes in. Then they should fire 50% of all federal government employees. Then they should put a time limit on ALL welfare and kick everyone off who exceeds that limit. Then,anyone who is not disabled or over the age for SS should be told to get their own medical insurance or do without. I do not know about in your part of the world but I have seen many cases in Texas where someone needed very expensive medical care for a special reason, brain surgery,etc., and the community and a doctor or two stepped in and got it done. Uncle Sam does not need to take care of Americans as if they are little babies.
