Siemens Gets Rail Order

Germany's Deutsche Bahn has negotiated a purchase contract with Siemens AG (NYSE: SI) to immediately procure 130 ICx-dubbed high-speed trains according to an agreement valid until 2030 and plans to procure an additional 90 trains. The order value for the 220 trains equals to about six billion euros.
Bombardier Inc, an aircraft maker based in Canada, has received a contract of $3 billion from Siemens AG for making shells and other components for high-speed trains. The trains will be supplied to Germany’s Deutsche Bahn rail system.
