President George W. Bush had OBL right where he wanted him

"I truly am not that concerned about him," said President George W Bush on 13 March 2002, after being asked the million-dollar question "where is bin Laden?" once too often. "Deep in my heart I know the man is on the run, if he’s alive at all," said Bush, brushing bin Laden off as "a person who has now been marginalized."

A very true statement by GWB ... he had OBL marginalized and on the run. GWB didn't need to be obsessed with OBL ... he knew that it was just a matter of time before the plans he put in place would catch up to Bin Laden ... meanwhile, further attacks on U.S. soil by al-Qaeda were thwarted.
