Dear Clo,
New BIGGER hard drive . . $50 to $60 bucks.
Reload Windoze . . then copy all the 'must keep'
files from the old hard drive to the new drive.
Good as new. For a LOT less.

Now?
Reload the old computer (wiping out all the malware,
virii, etc. etc.) get it all set up and you have
a backup box.

By the way, I am typing this on a genuine computer
antique. A Pentium I 200 Mhz with (get this) only
64 Megs of RAM. Running Windows 98.

(My other computer is a dual core Pentium D
2.8 Ghz processor with 1 Gigabyte of RAM.)

Zim.

Gas 4.15 by Mom's, 4.29 here. Went to Staples & bought a Dell computer on sale. (my son Jason gave me money at Christmas for this)
Mine is old & nearly full, plus got a Malware virus & instead of directing my program to "fix it", I choose "delete", a mistake that needs reinstalling Windows XP, which might not be worth the effort.
