Any questions as to why gold, silver and other commodities are soaring?
In the first chart, below, you can see that the dollar is pressing against its ten-year low. But the chart isn't detailed. It is based on data that is probably no better than MONTHLY.
The second chart, which focuses only on the last 30 months or so, shows that the dollar's late-2009 support point has now collapsed and that it is now likely to test the Feb/Mar 2008 support of about 71. If THAT fails, the might Buck will be in troubled waters with no telling where support will lie.
That's the picture for the dollar versus other currencies. But they're ALL being rapidly counterfeited, with the entire wealth of the world being funneled into governmental waste and bankers' pocketbooks.
Be smart and protect yourself. Buy 6 months' worth of food. Gold, but not silver right now, (and NOT the gold ETF. Take possession of at least some of the gold.) Natural gas. Fill your oil and gas tanks. Clothes. Foreign currencies or CDs (open an account with Everbank.com. It's easy. And many of the CDs pay really high interest.) FARMABLE LAND w/ its own water. A greenhouse or at least a couple rolls of thick, poly sheeting with which you can make a greenhouse if you must.) Guns and ammo (1000 rounds per gun, minimum. More if the guns are .22s.) Liquor. And tools.
There are a million ways to protect yourselves, and many of them are easy and low-risk (if they're monetarily liquid or things you can use anyway). At this stage, knowing what you do, if you're still relying on the government to protect your future, you're delusional. The government is your enemy, not your friend. It is consuming your future through currency-debasement and (to a lesser extent) taxation. The process will never end. It will accelerate - because the PURPOSE of fiat money is to let governments and bankers steal wealth from those who earned it. Don't get caught in this trap - get rid of your dollars.
