Happy Easter, everyone, I'm driving back tomorrow... Looking forward to catching up with world events. I considered buying another house yesterday. 3200 sqft with 5 bdrms and 4.5 baths and a gigantic 3 car garage that is doubly long (so it is a 6 car in reality), and a finished 1500 sqft loft, on 5 acres... for $289k. And it's just 8 years old! Very tempting, but I don't need TWO empty houses up here and still have no firm date for retiring. *sigh*
I checked out the 106 acre lot I mentioned in January and wasn't too impressed. It had maybe ten acres of pasture land (maybe 5), and the rest was rugged forest that I couldn't really tour. It looks like it is being worked by someone, so I'm guessing that it sold. That's okay... It is good to see what $200k can buy.
