Linda, some of those farmers and ranchers probably average $50,000 a year at most. To suddenly get ten windmills on their land which will pay them $100,000 a year, reguardless of the weather, is a deal they can not refuse. One rancher got 50 on his ranch. I suspect he now raises cattle as a hobby. I figure a lot of the farmers will now let the government pay them to not plant crops.
