Snapits, Japan? If ya see a cheap little monitor you can point at food and get a radioactivity reading, let me know.

I noticed my grocery no longer tells you what state the oranges are from. Probably diesn't matter, since Japan got both California and Florida.

I'm glad Obama killed Yucca. I'm for dry storage on site. They would have to build new railroads to transport it from around the country, as the roads can't. Nuclear is by far the most expensive power alternative. Yucca would just be another hidden cost that's never factored into the TCO (total cost of ownership).

One thing that surprised me is the industry players nixed reprocessing the spent fuel into new fuel. They said todays methods, like those used by France, are inappropriate.
