I suggest you START with the latest, the Friday April 22 2011 show. PLEASE WATCH IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH EVEN IF YOU THINK IT IS NONSENSE.
The central key to the "conspiracy theory", and the main reason I believe most people utterly dismiss the idea that there actually could be a "plan" in play amongst such a disparate group, is that they don't understand human nature (and the nature of someone like a Hitler a Stalin an Attila the Hun or an Obama or a SOROS) and they don't understand HISTORY.
Soros is NOT a "communist"; he wallows in his wealth and his ego and he makes DAMNED sure that HIS wealth isn't "redistributed" to anyone against his plans.
If there is something being "cooked up" in America, Soros is a key player. Soros is NOT a "businessman" nor an "investor" nor a "capitalist" (someone who takes a financial position in productive enterprise in the hope and belief that the product adds value to human life and through the free market consumers will choose to buy a certain product or product line and profits will be MADE.
SOROS IS A SPECULATOR WHO PROFITS ENORMOUSLY ON TURMOIL AND INSTABILTY. HE HAS ARBITRAGED HIS WAY TO PROFITS FROM CURRENCY COLLAPSES AND REGIME CHANGES. AND, CURIOUSLY, HE HAS "HELPED" IN MANY OF THE COUNTRIES WHERE HE HAS, SHORTLY AFTERWARDS, MADE A KILLING. Soros is, as best I can tell from having read some of HIS books (where he puffs himself; calls for a new (nebulous) central organization of world governments; and then goes on to discuss how clever he was in making money on the last "sad" turmoil or revolution). You need to understand: speculators don't PRODUCE any goods, they don't PRODUCE wealth. Speculators TRANSFER other peoples' wealth to themselves. For Soros to have made money on the collapse of the British Pound (and he did...and he also was instrumental in destabilizing it) or from the 1997-98 turmoil and hyperinflation in Russia (and he did ... and he also "helped" and "advised" in the months leading up to that crisis) SOROS TAKES FROM OTHER PEOPLE. That is all he does. He finds dumb or corrupt or ignorant people and he TRANSFERS their wealth to himself -- his standard of living goes up and theirs goes down. That -- to repeat -- is ALL Soros does. But unlike most speculators, who merely try to ride a trend, SOROS *CREATES* HIS TRENDS OR INSTIGATES AND FUNNELS THEM.
I also mentioned history. IF YOU HAVE NOT READ QUITE A BIT ABOUT THE FALL OF THE ROMAN REPUBLIC AND THE RISE OF HITLER IN GERMANY THAN YOU ARE TOO I G N O R A N T to hold an opinion about whether a "conspiracy" is possible at the highest levels in America today. Note I am not calling you dumb: I am calling you ignorant -- which is something you can rectify if you care to make the real EFFORT. Ignorance is curable, but nobody but you can take the course of treatment in your stead.
Anyway, Beck is apparently going off the air shortly. I have glanced, in the past, at various Beck shows and not been too impressed. But yesterday's show the previous one (April 21) are quite impressive in their coherence and presentation.
Unless you LIKE being a "tool" of people like Soros, or Hitler, or Julius Caesar I suggest you watch these two shows and THINK. Really think. That is, try and come up with your OWN theory on how the facts of recent history and the "collaboration" of the people surrounding Obama could *possibly* have happened. Soros and Goldman Sachs are ONLY about wealth transfers: from others to themselves. For them to "back" Hilary or Obama or anyone else they MUST feel 100% sure THEY will profit -- and profit enormously.
In closing, I really would like everyone -- but especially Clo -- to watch these shows, particularly the last one. If nothing else you will be able to say, first hand, you've seen a full Glen Beck show ... and presumably been able to logically debunk his theory with a much better, more factual one. Merely dismissing Beck because you don't like his style or have spent time getting conditioned to loath him is NOT a rational dismissal of his presentation. And, in the end, it doesn't matter if his particular thoughts are exactly correct. What does matter is that you understand Soros, at least, and understand that if Soros puts money or time into anything he fully expects to have that returned to him 1000 or 100,000 to one. THAT is a 100% sure bet. Soros is funding whatever he is funding so he can PLUNDER.
If Soros is backing a political program, or Party, or politician, or legislation, is is ONLY because he is PLANNING ON MAKING A KILLING THROUGH THEFT AND PLUNDER. In an earlier age, Soros is the kind of man who -- like a Attila the Hun or a Rothschild -- would consider it just a days work to kill one or a million for money. If you are backing a cause or a politician and that cause or politician is backed by Soros, YOU are a tool.
