...in Georgia if ya have somethin like that on your land the county can condemn it and make you take it down or pay somebody to take it down, or the county will take it down and bill you for it. What Im saying is that having somebody give you a turbine might not be as good a deal as it sounds like.

ribit, there were some in California that transfered to the property owners and then quit working. They just sat there for years. Some may still be there. But then, if the price of copper goes up enough, some company my agree to take them down for the scrap metal. Of courst, they probably will not take the whole tower down, just the top part.
