That is insane.
Many years ago I went through this very same exercise in moving a plant.
Our attorneys said that according to Labor Law we had to be a certain mileage away from the existing one, a different zone, and we obviously had to both notify the union of our move and negotiate a settlement with them.
We did that and then moved the facility to a new area.
We then trained new employees and almost tripled our productivity level by getting rid of the United Auto Workers. What a bunch of SLUGS that bunch was. They had the audacity, (stupidity really) to tell me in a negotiation over a new contract that if we would pay them more money they would produce more.
That was the most unbelieveable statement I had ever heard but reflects directly the mentality of that ilk today, across the board. Where have you heard that from lately?
The TEACHERS union!!!!!!!!! It is a disease!
It never occurred to ANY of them that give a full day's honest work every day and at the end of a year see if your boss gives you a deserved raise in pay.
If your co-worker is a slacker and not nearly as efficient as you are, he/she will either not get a raise or be terminated from that job.
In socialist America, that person would get the same identical raise as the one who busts their tail every day!
Anyone see anything wrong with that picture???
This is a MERIT raise is all about. People who deserve to get a good raise have MERITED it due to their own individual efforts and hard work!
Why should the chump who is a leech get your raise??? Why should he make the same money you do?
Why should I as a taxpayer providing the money for his salary PAY HIM at ALL? Fire HIS ARSE! Reward the GOOD FOLKs.
And that is today's rant by me!
