Toshiba's new tablet PC with Android Honeycomb will hit store shelves in Japan in June 2011. The device reportedly is being manufactured by Taiwan-based Pegatron Technology.

Pegatron has responded saying it does not comment on customer status.

Pegatron has also obtained orders for tablet PCs from Asustek Computer and HTC, according to market sources. The sources estimate Pegatron will ship hundreds of thousands of tablets in 2011.

Dubbed Regza AT300, the new Toshiba tablet has a 10.1-inch panel, Android 3.0 and Nvidia's Tegra 2 dual-core processor.
