ribit, there were some in California that transfered to the property owners and then quit working. They just sat there for years. Some may still be there. But then, if the price of copper goes up enough, some company my agree to take them down for the scrap metal. Of courst, they probably will not take the whole tower down, just the top part.

...at which time he will have to pay to have em taken down because the are "unsafe" or "eyesores" unless he wants to take em down, in which case they will be nesting places for spotted woodpeckers or sumpin and the epa won't let em.
