A group called Muslims against crusades is banned from demonstrating outside Westminster Abbey during the upcoming royal wedding.
That's sensible, right. They don't get to spoil a public-private event for everyone. The royal couple get to have a wedding uninterrupted by people shouting and displaying hostile signs.
How much more should that be true for the funerals of military heroes killed in action. Yet the US Supreme Court only worries about the speech rights of protesters.
Oy vey.
The dead should be allowed to rest untroubled by the cares of the world and the living to grieve uninterrupted, at least. Who cares what the Constitution says. These are private moments.
