Hi ff,
Well, it turns out you were wrong a year ago as you say, and I'm thinking you're going to be wrong again now!! I hope it will please you to see me relatively optimistic, even at the expense of your own judgement. I guess you are used to me challenging you!
Takes a while to win the trust of large market players. But Wave has now achieved that a few times in the commercial market and I think the pace of adoption is going to improve.
The government is not first in line along my timeline. I'm seeing Wave investing key corporate verticals from the top down. Looking for traction from leaders in the healthcare, defence, energy, utility (eg nuclear) and finance sectors in the not-too-distant future.

And then in Europe, the same sort of industries. As I've said previously, Wave's philosophical position suits Europe better than the US, in my view.
Add the beginnings of smart phone adoption in 2012.
Long run, say 2014, US government, NATO etc. That will put a crown on things.
I don't see shorting as having much impact on the company's operation. It's just a form of deferred market price increase. When the long army arrives, which it will when Wave is successful, the wee folks we have hanging around will go hang.
