...jim was a texas boy worked in dallas and other places. He told me the same story about the old guy getting talked into retiring. Lots of times I will get "forwarded" emails from you and him which are identical except for the email addresses. Makes me think there is a network of us former Phone Pukes about.

BTW: Do you know a guy named Jim McKee?

The name does not sound familiar. But then I probably worked with at least 10,000 guys while working for the phone company. I will see someone from time to time and think I should know them. And to top it off, I never was too good with names. BTW, while in Atlanta, I worked at 51 Peachtree Center, 1200 Peachtree (I think) and one other office that was out past 1200 Peachtree.
