Ryan's budget is retarded and regressive because it combines spending cuts with tax cuts, and therefore only pretends to cut the deficit by x trillion. It also ignores the negative economic consequences of the proposed spending cuts. It should go over big on the RETARD II board.
However, it is way, way ahead of any Democratic budget plans which keep on ringing up trillions in new debt until out nation implodes.
The House has adopted Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) budget resolution for fiscal 2012 on a 235-193 vote. The vote fell mostly along mostly party lines, and no Democrats voted for the plan.
The Ryan budget is likely dead on arrival in the Senate,
but is meant to lay out a long-term vision for the GOP on spending, as it restructures Medicare and Medicaid, and seeks to cut $6 trillion in spending over the next decade.
