The House has adopted Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) budget resolution for fiscal 2012 on a 235-193 vote. The vote fell mostly along mostly party lines, and no Democrats voted for the plan.
The Ryan budget is likely dead on arrival in the Senate,
but is meant to lay out a long-term vision for the GOP on spending, as it restructures Medicare and Medicaid, and seeks to cut $6 trillion in spending over the next decade.
