I don't agree with your political leanings, but your logic is dead on. If you changed "Democrat" to "Republican," "Obama" to "Bush" and "Regressive" to "Liberal," it could have been a post of mine from eight or nine years ago, when I became thoroughly disgusted with the Republicans and came to realize that GWB was a traitor to our country.
