It's more than half the country.

We have a country where anything is possible. Unfortunately that makes eligible for Congress guys like Cantor who used to be someone else's driver.

Our Congress is now comprised of plumbers, exterminators, car salesmen, and every other dumb nutcase you can imagine. The results are already showing. I have no confidence in the future if people like Sharon Angle can get a shot at going to Washington and making policy.

It's not a binary argument - The Republicans were naughty, therefore the Democrats must be swell. And we suck less than them doesn't cut it either, especially when there is no evidence over the past 2-4 years that it's true.

Probably the first thing me must re-learn is how to deal with the fact that about half the country is politically moronic (see RETARD II board). But we've lived with this condition for thirty years, ever since the advent of Ronnie Raygun Democrats in 1980, so stop whining about it as if every new post slamming them is a revelation. It's not "All Sarah Palin's Fault".
