...there's folks I used to work with who took extravagant vacations annually and bought new cars at least every two or three years and who lived on credit cards til they built up a little equity on their homes which they would refinance to pay off their credit cards. They are my age, they have credit card bills and house payments and car payments and they feel that I was luckier in life's lottery than they were and that I owe em somethin.

And you made the best decision but only after a productive career in which you were value-added to the economy. Furthermore, you prepared adequately for your a retirement so you are not a negative on the economy.

However, tens of millions of Americans are being encouraged by the federal government to not be serious about looking for work even though they are not retirement age. They are being shown a plethora of federal programs that allow them to at least subsist without ever working again in their lives.

And, they are being radicalized by communists like Obama to believe they are not receiving their "fair" share of working peoples' income and that they need to loudly demand more which, in turn, gives the communists running the government the cover to demagogue working people even further about paying their "fair" share.
