If you read Simpson's rant, he colored the entire Republican party as being homophobic.
When YOU publish verbal refuse like that you need to read the entire thing and see if this is what you really want to crow about.
As for "private personal decisions", they do not exist.

The BIBLE is very clear about HOMOSEXUALITY and in fact destroyed an entire city full of homosexuals called SODOM.
I Corinthians 6, starting in verse 9:
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived : neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Unfortunately for you and everyone else Clo, God doesn't give you the option of "cherry picking" HIS preserved WORD. He meant ALL of IT, not the parts someone may like and leave out the parts that don't suit us.
So, as I said previously, you will ALL give an account before HIM and if you don;t like what HE said here on earth, you will be given a chance to argue with HIM when you stand before the Throne in Judgment.
I am sure HE will understand completely why you threw HIS SON under the BUS and ignored HIS WORD, which was given by HIS SON.
As for the last comment about needing more than conservatives to win the White House, you are right.
Take heart though. Doug Schoen, A DEMOCRAT pollster showed last night that among independent voters the vast majority are opposed to Obama's economics and budget busting spending habits. HE said it does not bode well for re-election, and that coming from a DEMOCRAT pollster.
So yes, Clo, the independents were FOOLED the first time, let's see if they are fooled the second time.
My bet is that they will not be AND not only that, the SENATE will change hands and the HOUSE will pick up even more Republican seats than they have now.
Obamacare can then be repealed completely and a SANE budget with curbs on spending and paying down the debt can begin withour raising taxes or doing that famous Democrat LIE, "starving GRANDMA".
If you would like a lot more scripture on the SIN of homosexuality and what GOD says about, I'll be happy to supply it.
